Request intake

Public request forms let clients send work without signing in to your internal workspace. Requests is where workspace owners and admins review the original submissions.

Choose the form for the job

Form Use it for What happens next
Ticket Submission A general request or one-off task Creates standalone internal work.
Bug Report A problem with existing work Creates standalone bug work with the supplied details.
Revision Request Requested changes to existing work A project-specific link creates project work and revision subtasks.
Project Intake Background for a potential project Remains in Requests for review; it does not automatically create a project.

Share a form

Open a client record and find Intake Links for its client-specific forms. For revisions that belong to a particular project, use Projects → open project → Share Revision Form instead.

Preview the form and copy the complete supplied link. Client-specific forms can prefill saved contact details. The client should still check their name and email before submitting.

Review a request

  1. Open Requests and select the submission.
  2. Read the original details, requested timing, and any attachments.
  3. If it already has linked work, choose Open followed by its work reference.
  4. Assign and manage the work on the work item itself.

Requested priority and timing are client input; review them alongside your team's existing commitments.

When a request needs manual conversion

If an eligible request has no linked work, its detail page provides Convert to Internal Work Item. Review the internal title, client, optional project and milestone, type, assignee, priority, and due date before converting.

Do not convert again when a linked work item already exists. Project Intake is background for your review: decide whether to create a project, work item, or follow up with the client.

See Share a project revision form for the structured revision workflow, or public form recovery if a client encounters an expired form.
