Storage and data exports

Workspace owners can review storage and download an export from Account → Storage & Data Export. On mobile, open Menu → Storage & Data Export.

Review storage

Workspace Storage shows how much of the workspace's 5 GB allowance is in use. Files attached to work and requests share that allowance. An individual file can be under its upload limit and still fail if the workspace is full.

Use A file will not upload to check per-file limits before changing stored files.

Review attachment retention

The Attachment Retention section lists files eligible for retention review and their status. Read the conditions and dates shown on that screen before taking action.

Use Keep This File for an eligible file that must be retained. Use Standard Retention returns a protected file to the standard policy. Archiving a record is not the same as immediately deleting its files or freeing storage.

Prepare an export

  1. Under Download Your Data, choose Prepare New Export.
  2. The export is prepared in the background. Return to or refresh the page to check Recent Exports.
  3. When ready, choose Download ZIP.
  4. Save the ZIP somewhere private and secure.

The ZIP includes readable workspace records and available private uploads. It excludes passwords, security tokens, and Stripe identifiers. Creating an export does not edit or delete workspace data.

Exports expire after seven days. If a download has expired, prepare a new export. Only workspace owners can view or download exports; do not forward the downloaded ZIP to someone who should not see the workspace's contents.

If an export fails or remains pending, contact support with the workspace name and the status displayed. Do not attach the complete export to a support request.
