A public form was left open too long
A public form's security token can expire while the page is open. You may see a message asking you to review the request and submit again, or an expired-page error.
Recover your request
- Read the message at the top of the returned form.
- Check that your contact details, requested changes, and revision items are still present. Text is restored where practical, but verify it rather than assuming everything was retained.
- Reselect every attachment. Browsers do not allow file inputs to be restored automatically.
- Review the completed form and submit once.
- Wait for the confirmation page before closing the tab.
If the page cannot recover, copy any remaining text into a temporary note before refreshing. Reopen the original form link and paste your request into the new form.
Avoid duplicate submissions
If you are unsure whether the previous submission succeeded, check with the person who sent the link before submitting another copy. Do not repeatedly click Submit while the page is processing.
If a freshly opened link also fails, see A client cannot open a revision link. Tell the workspace owner the exact error and roughly how long the form had been open.
