Revision subtasks are missing

A structured revision request should produce one work item with an ordered subtask for each valid revision item. Use the original submission to check what was received before recreating anything.

Find the original request

  1. Open Requests as an owner or admin.
  2. Select the revision submission and review its individual requested changes.
  3. Choose Open followed by the linked work reference.
  4. Check both the open subtasks and the expandable completed-subtasks section.

If there is no linked work item, review the request's conversion controls. Do not create a second work item when the original request already links to one.

Repair an older partial conversion

Some older requests may have linked work without all their revision subtasks. On the original request, an owner or admin may see Repair Missing Revision Subtasks.

  1. Confirm that this is the correct submission and linked work item.
  2. Choose Repair Missing Revision Subtasks if it is offered.
  3. Reopen the linked work and compare its subtasks with the original changes.

The repair checks the stored revision items and creates missing entries. It does not create another work item or duplicate completed entries.

If the repair option is unavailable

The request may not be a structured revision, may not have linked work, or may be restricted by your access or the workspace state. Ask an owner/admin to review it. If changes are still missing, contact support with the work reference, request title, and which revision items are absent.
