How workspace privacy works

A workspace separates one team's client records and work from another team's. Signing in to SDM Workflow does not give you a directory of other customers or access to their projects.

Team access

Team lists and assignment choices are limited to the selected workspace. Owners and admins have broader operational access within their workspace; collaborators see work available through their assignments.

A workspace owner is not a platform administrator. An owner cannot use an ordinary workspace account to open another customer's private records or manage that customer's team.

A person can belong to more than one workspace by invitation. Switching workspaces changes which workspace's records and team options they are working with.

Public request links

Public forms let clients submit requests without joining the internal team. A form link may display the associated company, project, or prefilled contact details, so share it only with the intended people.

A client form does not provide the internal project page, comments, team list, or private file browser. Record-specific links include a signature; changing or truncating the URL can invalidate it.

Comments and files

Internal notes are restricted to workspace owners and admins. Regular work-item comments are available to users who can access that work item; do not use them for information that should be kept from those teammates.

Private uploads are served through authorized application routes. Copying a private attachment URL does not replace the recipient's required access. Downloaded files and exports are copies: store and share them responsibly.

If you notice unexpected information

Confirm the selected workspace and whether you are an invited member of it. If you can see data you do not expect to access, stop exploring it and use Contact Support → Technical issue. Include the page and a brief description without copying someone else's private content into the message.

See Team access and roles for managing your own team's access.
