Trial ended or workspace is read-only

Read-only mode lets you view available records while blocking operational changes such as creating or updating work. It can affect the whole workspace even when an individual record is not archived.

Check the billing state

An owner should open Account → Billing or Menu → Billing on mobile.

  • Trial: review the trial end date. A new workspace has a 14-day trial.
  • Read-Only: the trial and paid access have ended. Choose a plan to restore editing.
  • Past Due: use Manage Billing in Stripe to review and resolve payment issues.
  • Pending: payment confirmation is still processing. Refresh after it completes; avoid duplicate checkout attempts.
  • Canceling: access normally lasts through the displayed paid-through date.
  • Suspended: contact support. Payment alone does not remove a suspension.

Restore access

Complete the appropriate checkout or billing action, then return to SDM Workflow. Subscription changes take effect after Stripe confirms the updated state. If the page still shows an old state, refresh and check the Stripe confirmation before trying another payment.

Collaborators and admins cannot manage billing. Ask a workspace owner to take these steps.

If billing does not explain it

Check whether just the record is archived or your role lacks permission for the action. See Why a record is read-only or missing.

Contact Support remains available for read-only workspaces. Include the displayed billing state and what you were trying to do, but no payment card information.
